THE COMPANY
Marques Britas, SA is Marques Group industrial company, owner of a wide range of its own resources, quarries and industrial equipment, combining experience, technical capacity and qualification of our employees, that allows us to have a large capacity of production, recognized by the market.
Our philosophy is based on the manufacture of a set of products and solutions, of quality and quantity, in order to supply the needs of the Azorean market, in all matters regarding construction.

STORY
Since 1991, our path is, inevitably, linked to the development of the Azores. We have contributed to the construction of innumerous buildings and facilities, such as: Schools, Hospitals, Ports, Airports, Roads and tourist and leisure developments.

QSA
Our mission is to always work with excellence, aiming at total customer satisfaction, with a focus on continuous improvement, across all of our fields of activity. All of our products are subjected to tests in our laboratory, which is well equipped in terms of equipment and technical team, providing highly reliable technical services. We also carry out technical studies and laboratory tests for several external customers.

We have implemented a Quality and Environment Management based on the normative references NP EN ISO 9001: 2015, NP EN ISO 14001: 2015 and CE Marking.

In the wood industry, mainly focused on exportation, we were the first company in the Azores to bear the badge Marca Açores, in cryptomeria products. Our respect for sustainability, the implementation of good practices in forests and the working conditions that we provide to our employees, led us to obtain, in 2014, the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification in our entire wood line. Both certifications have enormous importance and recognition in international markets.
